So my Republican Congressman, Kevin McCarthy
sent me a health care questionnaire specifically asking if I supported HR 3200 and having town hall meetings. But he wants me to put a stamp on it? Is that kosher? Don't our reps usually cover postage when asking for replies? It is our tax money after all. Should I call his office and call him a cheapskate besides being a Republican douche?

1. My Dem rep asks for postage.
Dennis Cardoza. At least your rep asked about the public option. Mine didn't even have it as one of the choices.

I'm not kidding. That's my rep.

3. Maybe I shouldn't bitch and just put a stamp on it and send it in.
I just really don't like the guy but he has a secure seat, as no dems run against him, so I'm stuck with him.

4. You have to wonder which is worse-
A Republican rep that asks the question or a Democratic rep that ignores it.

5. Do you want him to know what you think?
He probably wouldn't bother to read a leter you sent with your own postage but he might be more inclined to at least be forced to include your responses in a survey he sent out.

It's worth the price of the postage stamp IMHO.
