following Friday's NASA mission to bomb it. A NASA spokesperson said late Wednesday that the Moon has no healthcare coverage due to pre-existing conditions. Apparently, the Moon has been deemed a potentially high-risk patient that has apparently suffered the condition of being pummeled by space rocks for "about 4 billion years now", according to one NASA source.

"We feel really badly for the Moon but we just cannot take the chance that, should we cover it, it will not just turn right around and get hit by a large meteor at some time in the future," says an insurance industry association spokesman who asked to remain anonymous.
