Drudge pretends to be anti-war now
Edited on Thu Oct-08-09 08:54 AM by rmp yellow
All of a sudden Matt Drudge has all sorts of pessimistic, anti-Afghanistan war headlines in his website. That's fine for someone who is not a hypocrite. But this man does not care about our soldiers. He only cares about attacking the Democrat and supporting wars during Republican presidencies.

6. Matt Drudge was the original RW "blogger"
He is often credited with breaking the Lewinsky scandal, although this is not entirely true. He is almost certainly a closet homosexual that frequently provides a soapbox for anti-gay rhetoric. His site lists a lot of internet rumors in a desperate attempt to "break" another big story, but a good amount of them prove to be complete bullshit. Naturally the wingnuts love his site because they care more about reading what they want to hear rather than real news and facts.

It's partisanship.

7. I think it goes well beyond partisanship and has more to do with hypocrisy

8. not defending drudge, but
regardless of what drudge's motives are, the psychological consequences of the unjust war are a fact.
If the troops don't have a truthful, clear, ethical and honorable reason for risking their lives, then yes morale will fall.
