DUers, let's not forget to call Senator Dodd and remind
him that he will have Ted Kennedy sitting on his shoulder when he meets with Reid and Baucus to merge the Senate bills. Dodd will be the one to bring the items in the Kennedy Bill to the full Senate for a vote. And maybe, just maybe, Baucus will get a conscience and vote for the Public Option that Americans want and tell the insurance companies who have bought Baucus' vote to "Get Lost!" We can all hope and dream.

2. That may be true...
but Sen. Harkin chose Dodd (and Baucus) to work on the merge of the Senate bills. Dodd is the best chance we have to see that Senator Kennedy's dream becomes true. Don't wish to throw out the baby with the bath. Right now we need Dodd and I sure don't want to see that slimeball Baucus deliver his gift to the insurance companies.

3. dodd did a horrendous job on the credit card reform legislation.
I am certain ol' chris can screw up health care legislation equally as well.

4. Might also want to remind him
that he's got a hell of a race shaping up in 2010 and he's gonna need all the support he can get from the base if he wants to stay in the Senate. Helping kill meaningful healthcare reform could hand CT to the Republicans.
