Did you remember to call your Senators and Representative today?

I hope so. I can't believe it is 8 yrs. I was so angry at work.

I don't think one person knew is was the anniversary of bombing Afghanistan, unless I mentioned it.

I had received an email that listed the past 8 years.. and each year showed how many troops sent, how much money spent, how many troops died. I asked my near by co-workers: "how many troops do you think have died this year? "
3 co-workers didn't respond, and 1 (the one who listens to Glen Beck) said "I don't keep track of those things"

My co-workers went on to talk of sports and whether or not the Twins had any chance against the Yankees.

So I ask DU'ers, "Did you remember to call your Congress members today?"

Cause if we don't, who will?

1. I tried, but couldn't get through.....they were all busy talking with their lobby-ests

The lobbyists had a much better offer (lunch at the swankiest place around, ON THEM) then I could EVER offer.......... OH, and they will be invited to the new, best coctail party where 'everyone' who is 'anyone' will be there.....just 'be there' ;-)

I was just complaining that I was under/un-represented :-( . I doubt I'll be listened to.....human nature, and all.... *sigh*
