Pastor Pleads Guilty To Making Obscene Calls To Baristas

Another religious whack job.

FIRCREST, Wash. -- The pastor of Fircrest’s Liberty Baptist Church pleaded guilty to repeatedly making obscene phone calls to female baristas at a coffee stand near his church.

The father of four girls, 41-year-old Randy Brock, entered the plea on Sept. 30.

A 21-year-old barista at Café Elite said Tuesday the calls went on for months and were always from a man with a distinct southern accent.

“Asking sexually explicit questions and questions about people wearing undergarments, and there was heavy breathing involved in the phone call,” she said. She did not want her name to be used.

According to Fircrest Municipal Court records obtained by KIRO 7, Brock called Cafe Elite again on Sept. 25 wanting to thank a barista for what he called a "double deal."

According to charging documents, when the barista asked him what he meant, he answered "no bra, no panties." She hung up the phone and hit *57, which alerts the phone company to trace the call.

He tried to tell police at his questioning that he wasn't at fault because the barista was "scantily clad" and he was tempted into sin.....talk about blaming the victim mentality. I haven't used the "devil made me do it" since I was four years old. And when I did my mom reamed me for it because even I knew better.

give him a break and don't slander him in the media is the vibe i got from this post right here. i felt like they were insinuating he's a truly good person because of his occupation and the fact he's supposed to do no wrong or whatever high standard they're holding him to as a pastor. read this from my2boyz Wow. I know so many truly good people, including this man, who have made mistakes. Although his actions are obviously inappropriate and unacceptable, he, his family, his life and ministry have now been irreversibly and detrimentally sacrificed publically upon the media "altar". Does this punishment fit the action?
