Faux News on Vonnegut
Did anybody see this? This is about as low as it goes, even for Fox. The correspondent's name is James Rosen. A pox on him.

4. Those pigs!
I'm flabergasted. And having never actually felt it before, I finally realize what that means.

What absolute jerks.

6. It's just so petty
Writing "left wing screeds," "irrelevant, "unhappy." Rosen sounds like he's pissed because Vonnegut once dissed Reagan. One shouldn't criticize one's betters, bub.

8. Vonnegut's work will endure. Faux Noise will not. Bet on it.
I discovered Vonnegut in the early 1970s in my mid teens and fell in love with his writing. I think it was my first experience with surrealism and literary comedy and drama mixed together so closely that they become each other. Vonnegut taught me much, mainly to keep everything, no matter how weird, in perspective, and that a certain bemused detachment is often the best posture for maintaining one's own sanity in an ever crazier world. He will be missed greatly.

One of my all time favorite quotes: "I can think of no more stirring symbol of man's humanity to man than a fire truck." - Kurt Vonnegut

9. Who's going to remember James Rosen's name in a hundred years?
But Vonnegut's name will always be well known.

10. I tried to download it it takes too long but it doesn't matter
I know what he would say. I think he would be happy that even in death he was able to piss off Fox News. May we all have that epitaph.

17. You are absolutely right
Vonnegut would have loved the irony and the ignorance. He was one those authors that was just a great human being. Too bad Fox couldn't have focused on that.

15. Fuck them
We all know they are political whores to the administration, but at least we now know that they are literary fucking morans. Cat's Cradle was a "cult classic"? Yeah, that's what it was you dipshits.

Fuck them. Fuck them all. Way to talk bullshit about one of the best authors of the 20th century.
