Ghandi was the top visionary of the Twentieth Century. And he understood the economy backwards and forewords. And although always respectful of those in the Opposition that he met with (ie the Brits in charge, both in India and in England) he never said that the Indians harvesting their own salt was "only a tool" among many options and that maybe he wouldn't even consider deploying such a tool.

Jesus also as a visionary, and he understood who, what and why the Money Changers existed, and why it was that they were set up just outside the prayer section of the Temple. he kicked some butt ont aht one, Jesus did.
