Will Republicans crucify Obama, if OPEC moves away from the dollar,

We have this standard of living - partly due to the strength of the dollar.

Some conspiracy theorists ( I mean the serious ones - not the Tin foil types) believe the Iraq war was waged to protect the status of the dollar and send a message to the oil producing nations.

So - what if the OPEC does decide to migrate to other currencies. Will that be seen as an Obama Administration failure to sufficiently intimidate them away form taking the step?

It is a serious question folks ...

2. There will be lots of blame to go around
The blame mainly would fall on the Federal Reserve for inventing 13 trillion dollars out of thin air to save the financial system which President Obama agreed to.

3. Is the Pope Catholic?
YES.

that goes without saying. To be fair the politicos in DC, regardless of letter behind name, hold responsibility for the crash of the Empire... though Bush is the worst...

But all hold some fault.

5. Of course they will. They blame him for anything that goes wrong,
regardless of the facts.

I'm surprised they're not blaming him for the recent tsunami.

9. Of course they will, but they won't have any justification
The decline in the dollar is ENTIRELY Bush's fault. At the time Clinton left office, such a move as OPEC dumping the dollar would have been unthinkable. Now, it is almost expected!

10. Of course. See the Olympics. Will it be absolutely not this has been cooking for a while
The Corporate media is sitting on it till it busts to give a time spread to help that narrative. If this goes down we will have to be extremely partisan and ruthless to keep nut jobs from swooping in and doing more damage.
