Has anyone seen any aerial shots of the protest? I was also there and am beyond pissed that I'm hearing 'a few thousand' showed up. :grr: :grr: :grr:

1. What's that "legit" news organization you speak of?
AP said "tens of thousands" Bob Schiffer was heard slipping "hundreds of thousands"

2. They ALWAYS undercount.
I don't know why. There were several people there at least. I saw them! Series! :hi:

3. Me, too!
So very nice to meet you and I'm glad you're home safe and sound. It is irksome that no one is giving an honest account. I'm hoping sky shots will be posted from somewhere soon, so everyone can see those few thousand that deemed to show up. :eyes:

4. All of the news reports that I saw...
...were very vague when reporting numbers of demonstrators. Every report on every channel that I watched thought the most important aspect of the event was the fact that "Jane Fonda was there." As for aerial views, I think restrictions on the air-space around D.C. forbid news copters.

5. There were helicopters overhead, but I don't know if they were
comandeered by the police, or news agencies. The restrictions would puzzle me as I've seen aerial pics from the protests in 05.

6. I attended an antiwar rally last year in Washington, DC
There had to be at least several hundred thousand protesters but the so called 'news' agencies were saying tens of thousands, a few said hundreds. I'm shocked they are covering the protest. That is one good thing about having a democratic congress. The 'news' agencies can't keep pretending the country sees this administration through the same rose colored glasses that they do.

8. It's not only the lack of numbers that bothers me. On Fox News
Sunday this morning, Senator Brownback made the following statement to Chris Wallace:

BROWNBACK: What is key is for us to be able to come together. You're seeing now the first street protest in this country about the war. We can and we will win in Iraq if we can just pull together.

What??? The first street protest? And he was not corrected by Chris Wallace.

9. And his inclusive 'we'. No, Brownback, you have nothing to do with it.
And if he's that clueless about what proceeded yesterday's march, he has no business running.

10. Everything I saw said "tens of thousands", up until yesterday...
... When I saw one that said "over 100,000".
