Same with the pundits. Only when they have to step over our bodies will they acknowledge there might be an issue.

I wonder if family and relatives with the permission of the deceased might consider putting the phrase Death Due to Lack of Insurance
or DDLI in the obits?

Or how about a "Shoes" project? 40,000 pairs of empty shoes representing 1 years worth of deaths displayed on the National Mall ( or anywhere else for that matter)

4. Or, they'd trot out Joe the Corpse Gatherer
And talk about how health care reform would hurt small businessmen like Joe the Corpse Gatherer, whose name isn't really Joe, and he's not really a corpse gatherer, but you know, he's a symbol for real corpse gatherers.

2. Actually, that sounds like a business opportunity.
You need your dead to be disposed of - therefor any true entrepreneur would be able charge anything they wanted. And once they get enough money to buy political influence, they'd be able to get the govt to give you a subsidy to cover the fee.

If it's one thing the Rethugs/Corporate powers know how to do it's how to turn lemons into highly expensive bottled lemonade, made for pennies in an unregulated juice factory in China.

9. The mortuary business has its overhead too. Dow Chemical is the primary source of embalming fluid.

5. Republicans and Libertarians are always happy...
when those who are "unfairly" using up their resources, die off.

Their is nothing worse than an "unfair" poor person.

8. They will not even notice it. The wealthy do not even realize that
the poor and middle class people even exists. Much like an elephant does not even realize that the ants and beatles under their feet exist. They hear a static from people not in their class, but that is all it is, just static. It doesn't mean anything. If their maid, groundskeeper or nanny gets sick.. they just buy another one to take their place.

11. They'll want a reform all right.
A tax reform. All those dead bodies need to be taxed. The new Death Tax will shore up the economy, ya know.
