you may think this is not much... but right now the dough is rising on a simple yeast bread. Mind you, I have never in my life baked. But today I went and found a book with some easy to bake artisanal breads.
It will take two hours for the bread to rise... I have time, I have writing to do.
But this is one way to fight back. And it is healthier to boot.
By the way, the recipe is so easy (if it works) that even if you are on a time constraint it could be done. Mix in the morning, put in the fridge... come back at night, form and bake.
These are simple and small steps... but steps we all can take. On and the best part. I AM SURE this bread will not have HFCS or any other silly things like that.

I may go look for some other recipes in the future... but this little book... Artisan Bread in five minutes a day, should keep me busy for a good while.
I may even get more adventurous in time and go for scones and other things I like... perhaps some mini muffins for me and the birds.
