I say there is only one possible course of action-- get the hell out. Whether we do it now or later has important consequences in lots of areas, of course, but one in which I don't think WHEN we get out has any impact is the matter of "winning."

I have not heard a single coherent description of what the mission in Afghanistan is today. What would we win if we won? I don't think anyone has any clue. Including Obama.

I'm increasingly coming around to the idea that we won't find him there anymore. Most say he is in Pakistan or elsewhere at the moment. I'm not fully behind the "Leave Afghanistan" idea just yet. But I'm getting there.
