when she dated Dave, and I think they did date. For any of us to pass judgment on either of these two adults goes beyond reason. We should all mind our own business, as should have Halderman. 10. It sounds like an "evolved" roommate thing.. Stephanie knew Halderman before Dave

she worked with him at 48 Hours BEFORE she left to go to The Late Show. I've read that she always liked comedy better, and it was 3 or 4 years after she joined Dave's show, before they had their fling.. When she decided to go back to law school, she shared an apartment with Halderman (maybe he lived closer to the school)..they supposedly did have an involvement, but she apparently paid him $1500 a month rent. When she moved out last month, the loss of thet $1500 rent may have been what set him off..
