LA PORTE CITY, Iowa | Peg Mullen, a former Iowa farm wife and author who hounded the U.S. military for the truth about her son’s death in Vietnam, has died at age 92.

The woman’s marches in anti-war demonstrations and her full-page ad in The Des Moines Register put her on par with more notable protesters of the day. She wrote “Unfriendly Fire: A Mother’s Memoir.”

7. I lost a lot of respect for Cindy

when she started protesting President Obama and blaming him for the current overseas fiasco. Now I wish her and her ilk would just go away.

President Obama is continuing the war in Afghanistan why wouldn't she protest him as well? Until he ends both wars she has my full support.
