Did Salman Rushdie instruct his publishers to print his novels in all capitals?

AS WE ALL KNOW, THAT'S LIKE SHOUTING!

If Rushdie did that, then it's no wonder some people would be extremely offended. Shouting is unacceptable among civilized people, unless there's an emergency.

7. I imagine that potential sex with one soul mate of a positively impressed reader...
would be more of an incentive to an aspiring novelist than potential death at the hands of one or more negatively impressed readers.

I wonder whether or not salmon receive disclosure in advance that the sex part is followed by the death part. Was Rushdie swimming upstream when he wrote The Satanic Verses? Perhaps he was just going with the flow, which carries an obvious automatic risk. For example, if you are carried away by flood waters, then you could quite easily die.
