10.He doesn't know how.
9. He still thinks he's King David.
8. Education in SC has not totally collapsed yet.
7. He is worried about the wasted tax dollars spent on White Out.
6. He isn't done with his apology tour.
5, He is afraid his popularity among Argentina hookers will wane.
4. He won't be able to make ends meet on the measly unemployment benefits.
3. He made a promise that not one more job will be lost in SC, and that includes his job.
2. He isn't done screwing SC.
1. Arrogance, total arrogance

jra wrote on 10/04/2009 01:30:44 PM: I am the public also, and voted for him. also....We have not moved on in regards to Sanford....He will not give the full facts...Where is Maria???Is he over her or has she dumped him as has Jenny? Most of SC Citizens think the AirForce should dishonorably discharge him from the AirForce. He is trying to hang-on for retirement and benefits...Leave for Argentina now if she will still have you...

SC wrote on 10/04/2009 09:46:04 AM: The one thing that Sanford has been right about is the need to restructure state government. There was never a good chance of major overhaul, given the powerful interests in the Legislature who benefit from the status quo, but there might have been progress. Unfortunately, long before Maria, Sanford gave up his chance to make a difference in this important area by wasting his time and credibility posturing for the applause and the money of Howard Rich and the Club for Growth gang. He could have been explaining why government structure matters to local voters, instead of being a puppet for those elsewhere who flattered and funded him in hopes of making South Carolina their lab experiment. It is now too late for him to accomplish anything, and that is sad for South Carolina. I won't waste any regret on him (or for that matter on his wife, who is said to have shaped much of his political direction), but I'm sorry for a lost chance for positive change for our state.

morrowwoman wrote on 10/04/2009 06:26:53 AM: MS wants to re-structure govt: Wasn't gettin anywhere BEFORE ppl knew bout his shenanigans & C-Street philos of govt. Now nobody'd trust him to shuffle a deck of cards! Ppl r actively opposed to him leavin any further permanent impact on SC, want to undo what he HAS done. What about this can MS not understand? "Affair" sickened us personally & showed his hypocrisy & lack of character, but it's just the (icky) icing on cake. We don't WANT lasting policies of man who considers himself king & annointed by God, unaccountable to lawful democratic process & uncaring about us "riffraff." IMO he'd b mor likely allowed to finish term if he'd #1 promise NO interference w/structure, #2 forfeit pension/benefits. If he's truly broken man (as should be) he'd SHUT UP, listn to what constituents want, not bully us just same as before. I hope Boeing comes here & brings jobs! but it won't change wanting CStreet power cult OUT of SC govt
