http://liveearth.org/I didn't think I was going to get through this morning, but finally did and got the tickets I wanted for the concert. I will be there with my son on July 7, 2007 to be a part of history. To be a part of the beginning of a global grassroots mass movement to wake people up to what we all must now do to save our Mother Earth.
I cannot thank Al Gore and Live Earth enough for doing this. I hope it will be a great success in that it will inspire a new generation of activists to take on this challenge with voracity and love. I have been teaching my son since he was a child about this Earth and how to take care of it as my mother taught me. To now be able to take him to this concert for our planet as his first concert is also emotional for me.
This is also not "shrill alarmism" as deniers and detractors would have us believe because they are afraid of the truth coming out. This is reality and they NEED to be VERY afraid, because when the people enmasse around the world come together to do what is necessary to preserve this planet for generations to come they will see what the truth and hope can do.
If you too can make it to the concert at Giant's Stadium on July 7, the link above will give you information on how to get tickets and who is playing where. Otherwise, you can also watch it via MSN (their site I am sure is linked above as well) and it will also be televised.
However you do watch this, please tell all you know about it. This truly will be historic as it is 24 hours around the world in making the global statement that we are not going to let our planet down after all she has given to sustain us. It is our moral duty.
