Chris Murphy, D-CT, is speaking in support of the public option.

I had a 45 minute meeting with him in August about work issues (food banks and food assistance programs) and as I walked him to his car I told him as his constituent that I support socialized medicine but would be willing to compromise with a public option. Considering his district includes some insurance suburbs (suburbs of Hartford, a home to many of the major insurance companies), I think his stance is particularly courageous.
