Tax Question re: Illegal Immigrants

OK, I just got THAT email again (for the 4th time); the one saying "Pay your taxes, 21 Million illegal immigrants depend on it!"

Can anyone tell me what percent of our tax dollar goes to illegals, and how? I'd also be interested in figures about what percent of our tax dollar goes to putting pot-smokers in jail. Everyone of the people I have gotten the email from enjoy that little illegal activity.

im not positive on the exact amount that goes to pot smokers, but ive always heard the majority of alcohol and tobacco taxes go to the war on drugs.

dunno what percent to illegals either, but you know tax payers do eventually pay for it .. but i mean come on its hardly anything to be upset about. there are legals here that dont pay taxes either, so ....

had no problem getting Mexicans to do labor for them at a fraction of what it would have cost otherwise. Seems to me that if some kids are going to school on their taxes, the parents already earned it.

The article is quite interesting. To a certain extent SS solvency depends on that earnings suspense file. Hmmmmm....

All of them pay sales tax, and many also pay income tax. They also pour billions into the Social Security fund.

7. if you want to stop immigration, stop the employer who employ them

without jobs they won't come here. More importantly, we KNOW who the employers are. I work in a small state, we ran a report on welfare recipients with family members under the age of 12 with reported "wages" of over $3,000 per quarter. Thousands. In many cases, the childs SSN was being used by as many as 10 people.

25% of the SSN reported by employers to the unemployment office in my state are invalid numbers.

And the agency can't tell anyone.

That's right, the state/federal unemployment/welfare office can't tell immigration or other police agency.

And who wrote those rules that prevent us from stopping illegal immigration?

The employers. They insist that the information be private.
