What is the connection between Rove and Cheney?

From many sources, writers and from Victor Gold's description in his latest book, Invasion of the Party Snatchers, it is pretty clear that the real power in the White House is the VP. By "force of personality", craven bowing to the boy king, he easily manipulates Bush like a Puppet Master alien invader, and makes all the real decisions, no matter what the decider claims.

We also know that Rove is the political leader within the white house. Ergo, there has to be an agreement, some understanding and cooperation between the two. I wonder just how often Cheney and Rove communicate? and how? Blackberries, intermediaries? telephone?

If and when the boy king comes up with an original thought, does Rove check in with Cheney for instructions or advice? Or does he simply give Cheney a heads up to allow him to convince the errant president of the error of his ways.

According to one of the Hopi Indian fairy tales (I've got the collection- they took oral histories and put them on paper), a rabid wolf mother once had sex with a boor and the spawn was a truly evil leader that brought death and destruction to part of the tribe. That is so fitting, eh?

6. I'd say that Cheney is the boss

and that Rove is allowed free reign in the political arena. Don't know who their liason is now that Scooter is gone.

Do you think Rove had a hand in covering up what really happened during the quail hunt where Cheney shot his friend?
