Hang on a minute, Steve (article's title: 'The Fixers: Tough Love for Union Town)
http://money.cnn.com/2009/09/21/news/economy/detroit_fixers_pasky/

Never mind the piss-poor grammar showing that you're in need of updating your own education, I will respond to three interesting points you mention (or, perhaps, not mention) in your cozy article:

1. Wages are out of whack, but not in the direction you want to take them. You say $11.79, but your mistake was mentioning the year: 1979. In 1979, $11.79 dollars for a programming job was damn good. And given that the minimum wage in 1979 was $2.90, and bread was $0.60 per loaf, $11.79 was an excellent incentive. $11.79 in 2009 dollars is a joke. And you know it.

2. As have many news articles have proven, updating skills does not mean jobs will follow.

3. You believe people get more pay than what they are worth. How do YOU define labor and worthwhile labor costs, since you went out of your way to make a claim people are being overpaid?
