What Does News Corp (Fox News) Own or Control? What Is The Reach of Rupert Murdoch?
Edited on Sun Sep-20-09 11:02 PM by TomCADem
In 2008, Rupert Murdoch's company, News Corp, generated $33 billion in revenues, which is more than TimeWarner, Viacom or CBS. Only GE and Disney generate more revenues, and GE has a subtantial amount of non-media operations. Given the wide range of assets within the control Rupert Murdoch, you have to wonder when the GOP refers to the liberal media, what exactly are they referring to?

2. You can't crush or extinguish something of that monstrous size.
No matter how toxic. You can't even make a perceptible dent in it. So it seems to me.

Utterly depressing.

7. Ahhh...but nature will take its inevitable course one day.
Until then, know that Murdoch's reach extends to both houses of Congress, various highly visible RW Christian organizations (eventhough Murdoch is not a Christian and is said to be a neocon dedicated to Zionism), of course the media outlets, and he is said to be behind many gaming organizations. His power and money have destroyed some very good people and many careers.

6. Whew, what a relief.
I had heard both that it was Rupert Murdoch, and a different Murdock. Who knows, maybe he's a corrupt jerk, too, but at least he isn't responsible for FOX.

Now, Dole Pineapple Plantation is stationed somewhere in the Philippines, I'm guessing.
