2. I don't want to drink with ANY of the candidates... and it's not because I
won't lift a few under the right circumstances.... I want my candidate to be too busy determining the best way to implement the people's business to have the leisure to cloud his judgment.

3.  I don't drink beer but...
Edited on Sun Apr-15-07 07:45 AM by kellenburger
I think I'd just like to sit and chat with H.R. Clinton.

Maybe I could give her some insight to the (lower) middle class,
then again she seems smart enough to give me some insight on everything
else.

I don't believe in the "beer connection" in elections,
because I would rather vote for Edwards.

6. Choosing a candidate by who would you most like to have a beer with...
...is what got us in this mess in the first place. What has your poll got to do with anything? That's not what this party is about. It is the other guys who choose their candidate like that and they are likely to have good ole boy Fred Thompson as their nominee. Lets choose our candidate based on their stand on the issues and we won't have a vapid candidate.

8. I Agree With The Sentiment
We shouldn't select our candidate based on with whom we'd most like to have a beer.
Unfortunately, many Americans DO choose candidates on the beer factor and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

However, none of THESE candidates are vapid. They are all smart and articulate.

11. I'd have many questions for Mr. Gore.
Some would be very uncomfortable, hence the need for a beer, probably more than two. Salut!

17. I'd want to drink with Biden
He doesnt seem to have a problem opening his mouth and saying something outrageous when he is sober. Imagine if he was drunk.
