Helps or hurts Obama's image?

My opinion, it helps. So many ankle-biters have been calling him weak and undesisive, but that's a strong statement and shows an ability to make a quick (and correct) judgment. It may be crass, but it reveals him as a regular guy.

Mr. West IS a jackass for doing what he did.

Sure, there are more important issues than West, but Obama is the one dealing with those issues so his image and EVERYTHING that contributes to it becomes part of those important issues.
