Some Montana Dems Applaud Max Baucus and His Bill
What is there like two or three hundred people in Montana?

************************************************************************************************
Montana officials praised the health care reform efforts of Sen. Max Baucus, who today released his long-awaited plan to the Senate Finance Committee.Sen. Jon Tester and Montana Democratic Party Chairman Jim Elliott issued statements today supporting Sen. Max Baucus’s efforts to bring quality, affordable health care to all Montanans and Americans. Rep. Denny Rehberg also praised Baucus's tireless efforts and recognized his service as a "genuine desire to do what's best for our country."

Elliott, the chairman of the state Democratic Party, also praised the Baucus plan to fix the "broken" health care system.

“We Montanans are lucky to have our own Senator, Max Baucus, leading the way on health care reform. Max has worked hard to craft a bill that would lower costs, improve quality, protect and improve choice, and prevent discrimination by insurance companies. It’s crucial that we fix our broken health care system so that Montana families and small businesses no longer have to worry about skyrocketing costs, or worse, about not being able to afford a trip to the doctor when they’re sick and need the most help. Max's plan is a way to achieve meaningful care reform. The time for action is now.”

7. Tester never says he'll support the bill as it stands.
He says he appreciates Baucus' hard work and he looks forward to a debate.
It's a pat on the head, not a vote. Not yet.
