against their own best interests. It is a tool like homophobia or sexism. These things are just used by the Rush Limbaughs of the world to stir emotion in the base so they will go to protests hope that it will stop public policy or at least scare GOP members of congress and the senate into not participating in the debate or compromising. Racism is just a tool. One of many to keep things black and white so too speak.
