I must admit to a bit of naivete, because I halfway expected things to actually change a bit..here and there.

I do not enjoy "regular' TV, but I was happy when we won in November because i REALLY thought that finally c-span would have some programming I might want to watch.

Every day ...day in and day out..

AEI
Heritage
CATO
Hudson
Hoover

Tom Delay
Newt
and assorted republican nuts.

Washington Journal is still hopelessly infested with them.

I had so hoped that Dean would thrown some weight around, and start making sure that dems were more represented on the one and only venue that is not a screaming head network.

Brian Lamb is Freepalicious, but I really thought that the over-representation of republicans was because they were in power..and once we became the majority, that would change.

Most of the "hosts" can barely disguise their disgust when they have to give time to dems, and gleefully read the Moonie Times & The WSJ.

About the only place one can hope to find any sort of liberal/progressive programming in Link or FSTV (when they are not rerunning something I have seen 5 times already) and the university channels.

C'mon Howard..get in their face and demand they show more liberal programming at c-span..and how about offering up some people on a regular basis..and I DON'T mean Paul Begala & Donna Brazile

is akin to slowing down for a car accident to see just how bad it is. i used to avoid such programs but now i am drawn to them to watch the carnage of their delusions. they try so hard to keep their reality alive but deep down inside them, they know their time is coming to an end.

i usually watch all the dishnet leftie channels also..current tv is interesting

WARNING-- never ever watch fox "red eye"-thee worse television show ever! it`s even worse than pink lady and jeff

4. Billions of dollars and decades of planning are not about to be thrown
away after one election. The infrastructure is still in place. Worse...it is not yet clear what the dem majority will do. I think the jury is still out on them...on some of them, anyway.

We see some dems in the paper, on the internet, and on TV talking about hearings, oversight, balance of power, etc.. I am heartened, but wary. I quote John Wooden:

"Never mistake activity for achievement."
