to what the teabaggers are saying? beyond the racism, they are calling for the overthrow of the government by violent means.

does the GOP not realize they would also be overthrown?

1. All they see is a big rally, larger than anything they could ever attract.
They don't care about the message, just the size.

2. They're just enjoying the show.
Not thinking about consequences is how the GOP ended up a failure.

3. I watched Glenn Beck over the weekend and he is calling for "refounders" but doesn't get specific,
He's calling for the overthrow of the government, but will leave it up to the crazies to decide on how that will happen.

4. All the GOP'er care about is getting the crazies to the polls in 2010, and getting the sane people
stay home.

5. Won't happen
As soon as a white man is back in the White House, with an R after his name, the Tea Baggers will forget.

They forgot that it was Bush who increased the size of the government.

They forgot that Bush started with a surplus but left with a deficit.

They forgot that under Bush the Patriot Act was passed.

They forgot that Bush signed the TARP bill.

So, they will forget, as they always do when their comfort level is back to the status quo.

6. It's not the GOP's doing, it's their corporate masters
Most of the GOP establishment haven't liked the 'Yahoo contingent' since the Palin rallies and view them as a danger. But they have no choice if they want the contributions to keep rolling in. Of course their are notable exceptions in the form of Bachman, Palin, DeMint, et al. OTOH, The Corporatistas see these violent morons as one of the last lines of defense to maintain the status quo and their obscene profits. These big wigs see themselves as safe no matter what happens since they have their private armies and their 'skull islands' in Dubai that will keep them out of reach if it goes to shit.

7. They had signs saying throw them ALL out...
They are mad at everyone in Government, not just Democrats and I am beginning to agree with them a little bit. I believe many Democrats need to be thrown out with every Republican..
