Phone Poll sponsored by the NRA

I just got a phone call this evening from someone polling on
behalf of the NRA.  She asked what my opinion was on the
"UN resolution to outlaw guns in the US."  I was
pretty stunned at first and had to ask her to repeat the
question.  When she did, I just told her, "Sorry, you
must be misinformed, again!", and I hung up.  Has anyone
else here gotten such a call? Does anyone even know what she's
talking about?  I can't find anything about it on the web.
BTW, no, I'm not even a member of the NRA.

6. I was once an NRA member

I canceled my membership and told them to make sure I was on their do not call list.

The constant calls to support asshole politicians was annoying, the constant begging for money was even more annoying, but when they flat out tried to extort money from me like those magazine companies do to seniors I told em to cancel me and never contact me a again or I would be attorney general bound.

Makes me angry every time I think about how many people that must pay up for their scams, and I'm a very slow to anger man.

I have talked dozens of fellow gun owners out of joining them, and work on every member I meet.
