Sanford changes description of trip

Did you notice the subtle change in the way Gov. Mark Sanford described his June trip to Argentina this week? …

As part of the Sanford Offensive, he has taken to describing his infamous June disappearance to Argentina as a “weekend” trip in an effort to downplay what is likely the strongest possible impeachment charge against the governor — that he abandoned his post without telling staff.

But really, governor, a weekend?

For most South Carolinians, five days in Argentina is the whole trip and not just a weekend. And Sanford originally planned to be in South America for 10 days before he was forced to cut the jaunt short.

1. But "he was IN LOVE!"

Nothing else be said. He was in love. That means he was a decent, clean man who just "happened" to fall in love and follow the love of his life to the ends of the earth! Isn't that wonderful?

Well, no, not according to his WIFE. Excuse me Gov. , but don't you have a brain cell that vibrates to anyone other than YOURSELF???
