sitting here, wondering about just how unsafe we have become, going by the Dick's words and all and I am a wondering, where's the beef?? There ain't no hamburger on the bun so to speak.

I mean if we are so "less safe" then something really terrible must've happened in 9 months or not. Seeing the rw hatriots come out in droves and seeing gun sales/ammunition go through the frigging roof scares me a little but I really don't feel less safe than I did 9 months ago. I thought for sure the Dick would be right at least once but alas he let me down once again.

3. Dick said deficits don't matter either

I would say that the deficit is making us much less safe on all levels. Spending more on the military and less on infrastructure, education, police, domestic security, port and border safeguards isn't making us safe. Who needs to blow up buildings or bridges when in a few years they'll start falling down from lack of maintenance?
