Why are there so many doctors in Congress?
Georgia alone has at least 2 doctors and 1 dentist. Boustany is a doctor.

Does the doctor business suck so bad that they all ran for public office?

1. The medical business is fine
Maybe these "medical professionals" themselves suck as doctors.

Boustany had 8 lawsuits filed against him.

Coburn from Oklahoma wants the death penalty for doctors that perform abortions.

5. They are crap doctors looking for a more lucrative gig.
Boustany, in particular, had several very serious and very costly medical malpractice judgments against him.

Then there are others like Howard Dean, who have decided to devote themselves to furthering the cause of public health.

6. They held AAAAA life in their hands, and a family's.
It is natural, that those that got a kick outta that, would want to hold all of our lives in their hands. And they got used to giving bad news. So, they wnant to tell us what we MUST DO, both holding our lives in their hands, and telling us we MUST DO IT.
