A foot in the door is better than a toe. A toe is better than nothing.

BUT, we still have to fight like hell. Fight like hell for a public option that we can then expand on, once it is popular and people like it. The idea is to make it like Medicare which people ended up loving. THAT is what the REpukes fear most because they KNOW that it will gain in popularity.

Let's all be "Fighting Dems" that won't give up on the health care dream. Try anything and everything to get that foot in the door. And keep on fighting to expand the reform elements. And if that means primary fights to challenge those Dems who in the thrall of the insurance and drug companies, then that's what we will do!
