tip o`neal and ronnie got along quite well. most democrats got along with ronnie because he was an adult who at least respected their positions. i`m sure kennedy did`t like ronnie`s politics but respected him and the office. those were the days when there was at least an ounce of respect for each other`s responsibilities .those were the days before the petulant children took over.
