Man killed in church after stone altar falls on him
Gunther Link, a devout Catholic, prayed to be saved after he was trapped in a lift – but was killed when he went to church to give thanks and the stone altar fell on him.

Link, 45, died instantly as he was crushed under the ancient 860lb monument in the Weinhaus Church in Vienna, Austria.

Roman Hahslinger, a police spokesman, said: "He was a very religious man and had been scared when he was trapped in the lift and had prayed for release.

"A short while later he was pulled out of the elevator and he went straight to the church to thank God.

"He seems to have embraced a stone pillar on which the stone altar was perched and it fell on him, killing him instantly.

18. It gets creepier. There was a survivor of the Air France disaster. She ended up dying, too.
http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=97751§ionid=3510212

An Italian woman who did not board the Air France flight that crashed in the Atlantic, killing all its 228 passengers, has died in a car accident.

Johanna Ganthaler, a pensioner from the northern Italian province of Bolzano-Bozen, and her husband Kurt missed the June 1 Air France flight 447 from Rio de Janeiro to Paris after arriving late at the airport.

Johanna and Kurt Ganthaler were vacationing in Brazil, when they missed the ill-fated Air France flight and were forced to catch a different flight later that day.

Just days later after returning to Europe, Johanna lost her life when their car went off the road near the Austrian city of Kufstein.

36. Well yeah.
If anybody honestly thinks, in a world where untold millions are dying of horrible diseases or starvation at any given moment, children are being abused, wars continue to fell innocents and evil men walk free, that God took some time away from his vitally important work ignoring the pleas of starving children with swollen bellies and flies in their eyes to send this guy an elevator repair man, than that person is both a zealot and a world-class narcissist.
