What does it mean that a President needs to address a national audience to refute lies...
spread by a right-wing echo chamber that has largely been created by the killing of the Fairness Doctrine and the Telecom Act of 1996?

I have never seen a demographic of voters (Right Wing Fanatics) so dedicated to a utter lack of logic and dependant on knee jerk ideology before in my life

6. It means stupid people are easily manipulated by propaganda outlets like FOX.
Limbaugh and FOX have convinced the very people who most need healthcare reform that they should fight against it. Of course, these are the same people who think they are on the Atkins diet if they just eat all the fatty meat they can get their hands on and avoid breads and vegetables. I think there may be a connection here.

7. It means the media aren't doing their jobs...
No way in a enlightened, civilized society would these outlandish lies and disinformation be permitted to fester and spread with media complicity...

8. It means the Fascists didn't buy control of most media outlets in the 80s and 90s for nothing.
Their control of airwaves allows them to get their storyline heard more than the oppositions.
