Why can't we regulate health care profits like we regulate utility profits?

Power company profits are heavily regulated by states. That's because energy is a life-sustaining need. So why can't we regulate the profits in health care, including pharmaceuticals. Give them a guaranteed profit--albeit well below their obscene profits they reap today--and put a cap on it. That eliminates their contention that taking all the profit out of health care would unemploy millions of people. They can still exist--just don't expect to get rich of of people being sick.

Obama is folding like a beach chair--refuting Republican lies while giving in to them. The Blue Dog Democrats are no better. We asked for change, not letting Republicans continue to dictate the agenda.
