I was newly married, and the interviewer asked me who my doctor was and what kind of birth control pills I was taking..

They did not want to "waste" all that primo "training" they were about to give me ...for that $3 an hr job at the bank :eyes:

There is still lots of work to be done, especially making young women aware of the sacrifices others made for them. "Iron Jawed Angels" ought to be required viewing in high school history classrooms.

Carrie Chapman Catt was from my little hometown in Iowa. The museum in her honor was finished in recent years. It's pretty incredible. However, people were less than thrilled with the way they represented her character in the film.
