So people will not face medical bankruptcy. So people will not be side lined with years of illness simply because they cannot screpe together 2 to 5,000 dollars for a needed procedure.

So people will not be forced off insurance rolls for some "pre-existing" condition that the health insurers says they withheld, even though they didn't.

So that never again will a child whose parents are insurance holders be turned down for a life saving treatment, because the insurers deem that treatment to be "experimental."

So that never again will one executive at United Health receive a salary equal to the entire payroll of one Rhode Island hospital and its 3,300 employees.

4. Not many Reps have signed on as co-sponsers recently
Quite a few did so in the first three months after Re. John Conyers introduced his bill but it's been a trickle since. The last signed on at the end of July.
