If I never ever hear another word about Imus, it will still be too soon
I am so f***ing sick and tired of hearing about Imus. If I never hear his name mentioned again, it will still be too soon. I don't give a flying f*** about Imus. Even Keith O is doing the "All-Imus-all-the-time" format on his show. I screamed "Enough!!" at the teevee last night during his show. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

That is all. :)

3. Me, too. But first, I'm going to start yet another thread on how sick and tired I am of hearing
about him.

7. Normally, I would agree with you.
I hate these "news fads" that especially the cable channels are prone to sinking into, where they hammer at one story all day long, day after day. Natalee Holloway. Anna Nicole Smith. It's like a total news blackout occurs on these occasions.

This time, for once, the thing they are hammering on is actually working to the benefit of the progressive cause. Imus's spectacular flameout is putting a spotlight on other even more politically poisonous radio hosts - Limbaugh, Hannity, the odious Savage - that have received a total pass for a long, long time. Kind of the way the Libby trial put a spotlight on The Dick.

So yes, it's stupid how the networks latch onto these things (Imus is MSNBC's theme for the entire day today), but at least this is something that needed to be talked about.

12. It all started with OJ
All OJ all the time. Then when he tried to come out with that latest book? A lot of us wrote to media outlets trying to hype it and said, "ENOUGH!" Even the book distributor finally got the message and didn't release it.
