How is it that the some in Iraq...
namely contractors can get paid triple or more than the soldiers and can kill who they want and will not face consequences but soldiers who are paid less and are in the same danger will face consequences. Also I keep hearing all of these republiCONS saying that we will win if we stand behind their president. Say we all said today that we stand behind bush how would this cause a win, they can't even define what a win is...I know that many of us don't believe this, what do you think they believe when they say this...

1. DRAFT THE CONTRACTORS
That's my solution to the need for more troops. There are 100,000 contractors in Iraq. They are already trained, already on the ground. By drafting them into the armed services, we can avoid stop-loss on our exhausted troops and asking troops to make their third, fourth or fifth tours. By paying GI prices for these contractors, we could drastically lower the $8 billion per month being borrowed to spend on protecting the oil interests of multi-national corporations.

How's that for an alternative plan, Mr. Bush?

2. Why is our military riding shotgun for these civilian contractors?
Our troops are getting shot at and blown up to protect convoys of civilian contractors.

That is absolute bullshit -- these contractors should be supplying their own armed guards...they are certainly being paid enough.

4. Surely they have a concept of "win"...
That's when Iraq and Iran and Afghanistan (and all other countries in the region and worldwide too), including all of their peoples/citizens...

-- bow down and beg to worship at our feet
-- are eternally grateful for our mere presence
-- are 100% perfectly obedient, peaceful, submissive, accepting
-- have become born-again Christians, but quiet/conservative/subservient (modest?) ones and completely reject Islam (and Baptize their children)
-- give us all their treasure, wealth, and especially their oil (with no constraints, keeping no percentage, with no regulations (not even environmental or human safety/worker's rights)
-- take up English as their ONLY language
-- thank us when they're abused or misused (when slapped: "thank you Sir/Master, may I have another")
-- chant and sing pro-American songs
-- watch only FOX broadcasting
-- believe what FOX tells them
-- never make demands, never ask for anything, and are content with their "lot" in life
-- strive to offer to do anything we want
-- comply with creating a faux "Democracy" for the world to see, but which is really just a U.S. puppet government
-- accept U.S. laws (forgetting their own legal traditions and Sharia)
-- happily turn in all their knives, guns, explosives, weapons, box cutters, tennis shoes, liquid shampoo, etc...
-- adopt U.S. directed/managed "free market" economies and capitalist practices (and allow U.S. Corporations total access and control over their economies, banking and markets)
-- are perfectly content to live in the dark without electricity or running water and with little food and are supremely grateful whenever such is provided
-- implement full and equal rights for women
-- learn to love pork
-- concentrate on producing beautiful high-quality hand-made rugs inexpensively for the American market
-- adopt total non-violence and proper civil behavior (no protesting or writing letters to the editor; accept all American authority and dictates)
-- ban gay marriage and outlaw abortions
-- burn all their History and Religious books and writings; make a new start
-- likewise, discard all cultural attitudes, beliefs, behaviors, rituals in favor of adopting American values, culture, etc... (with the exception of thinking they're special, wise, right, honest and all other "American Exceptionalism"; though they can take pride in working towards emulating their American Masters/Teachers/Benefactors/Leaders)
No doubt I've missed a few... additions welcome.

Yes, Republican "Victory" would indeed be complete if each and every Iraqi/Iranian/Afghan basically willingly signed a personal enslavement document as well as turning their countries into virtual "mini-Americas". But at the very least, they must become submissive to our will, be grateful to us and give us unimpeded access to all their oil (now and forever).

So, who says Republicans don't know what they think of as "Victory"; they just know that somehow it wouldn't sound very noble and honest (and they really don't know why).
