Teenagers 'filmed sex act fearing Large Hadron Collider doomsday'

HIGH school students allegedly filmed sex acts while believing that the Large Hadron Collider was about to end the world.

At least three teenagers from a Brisbane state high school are being investigated by police for allegedly filming sex acts on a mobile phone and distributing it to other students, the Courier-Mail reports.

Two students aged between 13 and 15 performed the sex acts in the toilets during school hours several months ago.

The incident occurred after the launch of the particle accelerator ring, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), which some dubbed a "doomsday device", sources told The Courier-Mail.

It is understood the girl wanted to lose her virginity to the boy - believing that the world was about to end.

Another student filmed the sex acts on his mobile phone without the girl's knowledge and then circulated it around the school and the wider community via bluetooth.

Police have warned those responsible for recording and distributing the images could be charged with producing child pornography, although that was unlikely given the age of the students.

Although the NSW government has mounted an awareness campaign about the dangers of filming and circulating explicit images, the Queensland government is yet to act on the issue.

But police say it is not the first time they have investigated incidents involving students producing sex videos, which are then circulated via text or over the internet.

An Education Queensland spokesman said it could not comment on the incident.

The department had raised problems with the inappropriate use of technology with parents through school newsletters, the spokesman said.

I do not defend "boys will be boys" but I do accept that they can be filty little pervs and a good few girls aren't exactly little angels either. It's the nature of the beast. And fortunately most grow out of it as they develop a veneer of civilisation.

God, I'm glad I grew up pre-camera phone. We fooled around with polariods when we fooled around, but those were fairly easy to keep track of. a child being taken advantage of and exploited. Just the fact that the boy could lure her into sex acts because of "the supercollider" tells me she was immature and not ready to face that situation.

It's stupid to assume this girl was being "exploited." First of all, if she's smart enough to know what the LHC is she's smart enough to know if she wants to have sex or not, and that the LHC has fuck-all to do with it.

Secondly because assuming she's a victim of exploitation and the boy was an evil exploiter is sexist as hell. Teenagers of either sex are horny little buggers. Or at least they were when I was that age, I highly doubt they've suddenly become chaste-minded in the intervening years.

I will say though, that as the father of a 17 year old boy and a 13 year old girl, I can tell you that from what I've observed, my 13 year old and her peers are way more fixated on the opposite sex and way more aggresive than the boy and his friends were at the same age.
