2. I have no doubt that the kids who were told they couldn't watch it

will go out of their way to find it on the Internet, just because they were told it was "bad" or "subversive." Of course, when they finally see it's just an innocuous little speech about how they should work hard, stay in school and get good grades so they can be successful when they grow up, they will be disappointed that it wasn't evil and subversive, but they might also figure out that their school districts (and parents) are idiots and tools.
