I'm paraphrasing here..."Our government did torture under the Bush administration, but we stopped that and I don't see any reason for the DOJ to try and criminalize what has taken place when we were all under a lot of pressure to find some quick information. To prosecute the guilty in this case would itself BE CRIMINAL!"

If I murder and rob last week and I don't do it anymore this week, then I should get away with murder?

And Tom Ridge claims to be a lawyer...I'm guessing he's about as good and honest a lawyer as Yoo, Gonzo, Ashcroft and Addington.

blonde lady with an extra shiny mouth like those FOXy ladies that work for brother Rupert. I looked down and even my dog was laughing at Tom's splainin' how we needed to torture people for the past eight years to keep us all safe from "Terra". Funny how the US got by without it for so long before Bush decided to go medieval Saddam style, complete with the electric drills and rape rooms and how we are getting along again now without torturing folks.
