Hah - Meet the Press Ratings Drop with Scarborough after Rachel Maddow High
"Meet the Press" again topped the Sunday show ratings, but saw a decrease after last week's popular broadcast. This Sunday, 'MTP" had 2.96M Total Viewers and 1.02M in the A25-54 demo. When cable replay numbers are combined with the broadcast network ratings, "MTP" stays on top with an additional 394K Total Viewers (198K A25-54) bringing their total to 3.36M, while "Fox News Sunday" jumps to 2nd in both categories. "FNS" had 1.11M Total Viewers for the FOX broadcast and 2.01 for the FNC replay, bringing the total to 3.12M. In the A25-54 demo, "FNS" places second with 929K (426K FOX, 501K FNC).

Here is the ratings breakdown for Sunday:

NBC "Meet the Press" 2.96M / 1.02M
ABC "This Week" 2.33M / 792K
CBS "Face the Nation" 2.26M / 696K
FOX "Fox News Sunday" 1.21M / 460K

"Meet the Press" had its highest total viewer delivery since April this past Sunday, averaging 3,359,000 total viewers for David Gregory's most convincing victory in months.

ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" — which was guest-hosted by Jake tapper while Stephanopoulos was on vacation — averaged 2,470,000 total viewers for a distant second place, while CBS' "Face the Nation" with Bob Schieffer averaged 2,447,000 total viewers and FOX's "FOX News Sunday" averaged 1,207,000 total viewers.

Sunday's "Meet the Press" featured Rachel Maddow's debut on the show; she appeared with former House Majority Leader Rep. Dick Armey (R-TX), Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK), and former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) for an in-depth look at the health care debate.

3. Who would expect that dick to a big ratings draw?
Liberals don't like the ex-wingnut congressista, and conservatives don't like him 'cause he's on MSNBC.
