Our lender just agreed to admit us to Making Home Affordable

For those who didn't know, we were out of work from November till three weeks ago.

After waiting for paperwork since February, we just finished the negotiations with our lender.

Yes, we can stay in our house.

The only way one will be accepted into this program is to call, and call, and call, and call. It also does not hurt to write to one's Senator's office and ask for help as well. http://www.makinghomeaffordable.org/

1. I am hoping that there is a reputable lender or program

to help me buy the house that we are currently renting. My wife an I have been in grad schoo and now she has a lot of adjusnct jobs, but our landlord (we have been here nearly 4 years wants to sell.
