the enormous fiscal mess that Bush and they left behind.... and....they won't fund necessary, lifesaving healthcare for American people.

Bush got support and his approach was PROVEN to be a miserable failure for this country. Yet, some senate Dems are still intent on following the failed policies and blocking clean up efforts.

I think there is a whole lot of blackmail going on in DC, and Sibel Edmonds testimony the other day was just the tip of the iceberg. Center-right Dems deserve greater scrutiny by the rest of us.

1. The only bottom line they worry about is their own.

2. Do they really believe they did this country any good by backing Bush's policies?
No - I don't think they believe that, but, I do know the Bush's long history of blackmail even blackmailing fellow GOPs during Nixon administration, so, it's the most likely answer to why they would so blatantly support failed policies and deliberately obstruct efforts to walk back those failed policies.

9. No. Nothing in particular. Just an observation on the elusive nature of evil.

7. k*r Isn't that the truth!
Like the appalling Mary Landrieu, (Fake-LA). She's just awful. Betrayed her own people in Katrina
by apologizing for Bush and voted with him on most things. She's a disgrace.

Dump them, all of them. Some of them will see a revived southern/rural populist opposition in their
primaries and some will lose.

Anyone who thinks that conservative economics are something to support is the enemy.

13. They certainly are to me....
and they tend to be the same ones who side with closed government that is unaccountable to the people. They get no respect or sympathy from me.
