7. Sen. Kennedy's death didn't lead even one front page of the four Newseum papers

in my home state. Kinda telling about their cultural ignorance, isn't it?

12. It's kind of telling how threatened corporations and the right wing were by all of them.

John F Kennedy bowed to no corporate or military intimidation and their smear tactics didn't work. He genuinely wanted to help people and institute a culture of peace. Which, of course, the Hard Right, the military brass and corporations would never allow. We all know what happened next, and that "message sent, mark and LEARN" pretty much stifled anyone ELSE that wanted to do anything remotely progressive in this nation.

So naturally, they're probably breathing a sigh of relief knowing the "right" family (i.e. the ones that gave the corporations, the MIC and the far-right-wing, the keys to OUR kingdom and tax dollars) ruled longer than the Kennedys had a chance to. Only problem is, we're ALL living with their manure-heap "legacy".

Supposedly this buck-toothed, hairdo-straight-outta-the-Wall-Street-80s loonster is being groomed to be the head of the editorial board one day. When that comes, you can forget about this paper EVER endorsing Democratic candidates for anything.
