I think it's actually going to happen....that we will finally have health care.
At first I was skeptical, these "town hall meetings" were nothing but vent and bile fests where misinformed would go to froth and spew.

The dynamic is changing, slowly but surely.

Reading about the mad as hell doctors, about people on these boards bravery in facing down 10-1 odds at these meetings and speaking up.

Seeing that poor woman show her pain about her husbands traumatic brain injury, and the response of total strangers to it.

Watching Jon Stewart own that vapid headed blonde "death panel" rumor monger so completely her head spun and she resigned.

Is anyone else feeling it...or am I being overly optimistic?

1. I sometimes feel it (lately)!
I hope you're right.

I think because there's so much media exposure (that back-fired) for the town hall deather-zombies, and the popular talk shows on msnbc connecting the dots to who's funding them...sometimes I can think positively!

3. I would love to believe it... but unfortunately i have become cynical over the years.
I swear, if it weren't for jon stewart and rachel maddow and olbermann and a few others I would go crazy... this stuff is causing issues with my own family members to the point that I avoid them altogether.... I get so damned mad at them. I want to ask my brother if I get sick and the insurance won't cover it, do I deserve to die, then?? How about my kids?? I am just so tired of his bs. And very sad.
